But like others mention, a quick look at the screenshots and you will know. STAR WARS THE FORCE UNLEASHED ULTIMATE SITH EDITION PS2 PS2And with these the version for PS2 was much better than the next-gen one. And those versions are simple called version 1 and version 2. A version for PS2/GC/Xbox and one for PS3/PC/Xbox360. This is the same thing that was done for Splinter Cell Double Agent back in the day. The game is pretty much the same but the story here and there can be diffrent, and can actually make it a better game. But sure, the visuals are "redone" so call it whatever floats your boat mate. I think its more appropriate to call it a cross-gen title. Kinda like Splinter Cell Double Agent if you checked that out. Since it was a cross-gen game it got 2 diffrent versions. Originally posted by VivaLaDokky:I don't think you can call this a remake. I'll buy this one and also emulate the older version on PPSSPP Thanks for the input and understanding, the Ultimate sith edition is indeed a remake since all of it's graphics, combat mechanics, and even the cutscenes are different. I couldn't tell for sure in the screenshots. But yeah, this Steam version is the Xbox 360/PS3 version so if you want the one you're looking for you should probably emulate it. The Xbox 360/PS3 version doesn't seem like a release/remake in any way.īut who knows, maybe it is I guess. But why didn't you just look at the screenshots then? If I look at the Steam Store page it's very clear that it's not the PS2/Wii/PSP version.īut yeah, I can't find anything regarding that the PS2 was the "original". See for yourself, gameplay on Playstation 2:Īh, ok. The Remake looks prettier, sure but the older version is too nostalgic for me. There is an "original." This game first came out on consoles 2 generations ago, and was remade for the Consoles of the last generation.
